Car lovers of Sydney! It’s been a while since we showcased the upcoming car events for car owners, car sellers, and car enthusiasts in general. If you fit any of the above categories, read through some of these events occurring through the rest of 2019 and get in on the action.
CMC Shannons Sydney Classic
This is the event to get to for all the car lovers of Sydney. Whether you’re a straight car enthusiast or you’re into motorbikes, fire engines, police vehicles are more, you’ll be sure to see some wheels that get you going. The event has both display cars and a parade to showcase the almost two thousand Veteran and Classic vehicles that make their way to the park. This family friendly event also has much more to offer than simply looking at cars. You can ride the double decker bus around the race track and peruse all the car memorabilia at the CMC markets. The whole family will enjoy live jazz music, clowns, face painting, and so much more.
From the city, take the M4 motorway to the Reservoir Road exit. From Sydney North, its best the take the M2 and the M7. There is no surrounding street parking so bring your ticket along to gate B to enjoy free parking! Save time by buying tickets ahead of time here.

All British Day
The Association of British Car Clubs loves cars so much, that they created a day entirely for cars to be enjoyed be other car lovers. There are over 60 clubs in their association and the All British Day is their one event each year where everyone, including the public, can come together in car appreciation matrimony. This special car lover event started in 1981 when the Austin Motor Club displayed their line of British cars on top of Ryde Shopping Centre, and it’s continued to grow and evolve since then. All vehicles on display at All British Day are manufactured in the UK or in another country by a British Plant. The event is run in conjunction with the King’s School Art show and is promoted as a family event, so bring the gang!

Forging the Future Today- Driverless Vehicle Summit IDVS
Are you that kind of a car enthusiast that wants to be involved in not only restoring, maintaining and appreciating the classics, but also in learning about and engaging in the future of driving and vehicles? This October you can join in on the 4th International Driverless Vehicle Summit organised by the Australia and New Zealand Driverless Vehicle Initiative. This definitely is a pricier event compared to the free family fun car show days, so think of it as an investment if its an area you’re really passionate about. The event will be centered around both an enormous vehicle exhibition and trade show as well as a showcase of the leading minds in the industry. You’ll hear from speakers in all aspects of the future of automated vehicles including those in business, engineering, commercialisation, robotics, and sustainability. If vehicles are really your jam, this is your event of the year, don’t miss it!

Sundown Car Fest
Are you a car lover and owner, looking for a relaxed evening event to get together with your peers and show off your wheels? The Sundown Car Fest happens on the second Saturday of the Month and welcomes people and cars of all ages. Whether you’re currently working on a passion project or you’ve got a new flashy hunk of metal, bring it down with the family and let others enjoy it too. If you’re selling your car in Sydney, give your wheels a last moment of glory! If you’ve already sold a car, you can even pedal in to this event on your bike to give some love to the other cars.

NSSCC Auto Brunch
The North Shore Sporting Car Club strikes again. This December the NSSCC is expanding on the old Cars and Coffee themed event and is bringing together all car enthusiasts for a morning of socialising, buying, selling, and general coming together for Sydney car enthusiasts. If you’re selling a car in Sydney, this might be a great last hoorah to come show off your wheels and ogle at those of other car lovers.All cars are welcome including the classics, the rare, and the down right mundane, it doesn’t matter! You can even peruse car parts going for sale! Car enthusiasts will also be advertising vehicle related products and services so even if you’re selling your car in Sydney, you might have something to offer. In any case, come along for a coffee and a BBQ and relish in the car enthusiast mecca of the Auto Brunch. You won’t regret it.
