Are You Selling’s Top 3 Most Practical SUVs

SUV’s are the backbone of the car industry, they need to be tough, comfortable and above all practical. Some however, are more practical then others which is where we come in! We’ve  done the hard work for you and have created a shortlist of our top 3 most practical SUV’s.

3. Mazda CX-9

mazda cx9

Looking sexy and fine doesn’t necessarily equal practically, but in this case the Mazda CX-9 ticks all the boxes. Leg and Headroom is at it’s best, my 192cm travel buddy certainly had no complaints whilst being able to extend his legs with room to spare!

Cabin storage is generous too, not to mention 6 cup holders all up (no excuse for spillage now).  The duel climate control  extends to every row meaning everyone can be comfortable no matter where they are sitting.

At 5075mm from top to bottom and 1969mm across, the CX-9 is longer and wider than the Kluger and Pathfinder but measures  the same 11.8m turning circle.

2. Hyundai Santa Fe

Hyundai Santa Fe is one “hubba hubba” 7 seater. However, being good looking doesn’t always get you over the line (even if the Kardashian’s tell us otherwise), luckily the Hyundai gives us reason to be excited.

Legroom is great but perhaps not as generous as the Mazda CX-9, but keep in mind the second and third rows are generally dedicated to the children so this will most likely not be an issue.

If you love storage this is the car for you, Hyundai has included clever storage compartments under the floor for things like wet towels and muddy shoes! How cool is that?

The Santa Fe is the shortest of our top 3 measuring at 4700mm end to end and the narrowest at 1880, the turning circle is also smaller at 10.9m.

3. Toyota Kluger

Ding, ding, ding! And the winner is… the Toyota Kluger! Not just for the size, but for the practicality in design whilst staying within a reasonable price point.

The interior design has us all drooling, with a split level dashboard and a giant 24-litre centre console bin with sliding tray. Leg room is great too no matter which row you are seated in, not to mention the big, wide doors that make existing with kids and groceries in hand a breeze.

The Kluger is 4890mm long and 1960mm wide, with a surprisingly impressive nimble turning circle of 11.8m.
